ST. GEORGE — A home in Mesquite, Nevada, sustained minor damage after three vehicles in the driveway caught fire early Sunday morning.
Fire crews found the vehicles parked in the driveway of the home engulfed in flames and the fire advancing on the eaves of the home on Poppy Lane a little after 3 a.m., according to a news release issued by Mesquite Fire and Rescue.
Crews were able to quickly extinguish the flames in the home and vehicles. Firefighters from Mesquite Fire and Rescue were assisted by crews from the Beaver Dam/Littlefield Fire District and Clark County Fire Department.
The cause of the fire is still under investigation.
While the home had minor damage to the front of the garage, the three vehicles were extensively damaged. There were no injuries reported.
