Science is Listening Campaign calls for community input

CEDAR CITY — Science is Listening Campaign is calling for voices.

There’s a lot of talk right now about what science can or should contribute to policy decision making. Join Claire Cleveland, an SUU alum and PhD student at Penn State’s College of Earth and Mineral Sciences, on Saturday, April 1 to share your story and your perspective.

How does science effect your life? Do you have a story about lost jobs due to the impact of science based policy? Does your family have a story about efforts to live more sustainably? Or, maybe your story is about experience as a soldier whose life was protected by high-tech SAPI body armor. Please come prepared to have your story videotaped—in approximately 5 minutes or less so that many voices can be heard.

The video release date is anticipated at the end of the year and will be made available to students, faculty, policy makers, and the public. For questions, contact clairecleveland@psu.edu.

Be heard, Saturday, April 1 at these locations in Cedar City:
