Snow named Rotarian of the Year

ST. GEORGE – V. Lowry Snow, local attorney and currently serving District 74 in the Utah House of Representatives, was recently recognized as Rotarian of the Year (2013-14) by the 65-member St. George Rotary Club, according to Janet O’Riley, president of the largest of Washington County’s four chartered Rotary clubs.

Snow has been involved in many successful activities and service projects since joining St. George Rotary in 2008, but was selected for this recognition because of his extensive review of club bylaws and the development of several grants.

St. George Rotary Club is one of four Rotary clubs in Washington County and one of more than 34,000 clubs in the world. St. George Rotary is comprised of local business, civic and education leaders in the community dedicated to Rotary International’s motto of “service above self” Rotarians, locally and in more than 200 countries, work together to improve the world through club, community, vocational and international service.
