Southern Utah Art Guild announces winners of its Winter Show, ‘Winter Delight’

ST. GEORGE The Southern Utah Art Guild is pleased to announce the winners of its winter show, “Winter Delight”.

Best of Show – Robin Mueller for Pathway into Rain Forest” – Photography
First Place – Ernest Webb for “Five Oil Lamps” – Photography
Second Place – Pamela Bird for “Our Lady of Compassion”
Third Place – Vicky Walker for “Waiting” – Oil

Honorable Mentions:

Diane Graebner for “Northern February” – Acrylic
Brian Lewis for “Ancient Juniper – Brooch”
John Mangels for “Winter in Blue” – Acrylic
Mel Scott for “Winter’s Calm” – Alcohol Ink on Tile
Judy Ewing for “My Rose Garden” – Oil
Jody Gerber for “Winter Solace” – Oil

The Peoples Choice Award for the “Gift of Art” show was awarded to Juanita Becker for “Golden Girl”.

The judge for “Winter Delight” show was Glen Blakley from DSU.

The show features 137 pieces of art of all media, 2D and 3D, from 53 artists. All pieces are for sale.

The “Winter Delight” show runs through Feb. 25 in the Red Cliff Gallery, located in the City Commons Building, 220 E. 200 North, St George. The show is open Monday through Saturday, 10 a.m. to 5 p.m.

See additional art from the Southern Utah Art Guild in the Arrowhead Gallery located in the Electric Theater Center, 68 E. Tabernacle, St. George. This gallery is open Tuesday through Saturday from 11 a.m. to 6 p.m.
