Southern Utah Heritage Choir to hold garage sale

ST. GEORGE — The Southern Utah Heritage Choir is sponsoring a neighborly garage sale on Sept. 29, from 8 a.m. to 3 p.m. next to the Town and Country Bank, 405 E. St. George Blvd.

The choir and many friends are donating gently used goods to support this activity. Included in the sale will be everything from clothing and toys to sports equipment and bolts of material to personal items and electrical doodads.

Proceeds will support wardrobe scholarships for new members. Currently, a male choir member needs to purchase two tuxes and a female choir member pays for two formal dresses. Added to that is the cost of ties and jewelry.

The Heritage Choir is asking for your support by donating any used items to this sale and/or coming out to see what great deals you can find. For questions or to donate items, contact Barb Schweiz at 435-218-5175 or a current choir member.
